what you get
The General Entry Category is open to all pre-1990 vehicles and is an accessible way to take part in the Super Alpine 500. As part of your registration cost you will have access to the following (two people per vehicle)
Super Alpine 500 Drive Day
The Super Alpine 500 Drive Day begins with a casual meet & greet breakfast in Sydney's Centennial Park where vehicles are registered, checked over and drivers are briefed on the rally ahead.
We then set off at 9am and travel through Sydney out to the small southern highlands historic town of Berrima to regroup, grab a coffee and prepare for the rally to our next destination.
Arrival at Pialligo Estate in Canberra will be around 12.30pm and we are set for a delicious three-course lunch including locally produced paired wines. Our hosts will welcome all drivers and our photographers will be there to capture the excitement of the event.
From this point we then depart for our final section of the rally into the alpine region of NSW, winding up to the Thredbo Alpine Village. Our content team will capture all the beauty of the drive through drone footage and key shot points throughout this final section.
Once marquee drivers arrive in Thredbo, room keys will be presented for those choosing to stay at the official hotel: the Thredbo Alpine Hotel before we reconvene for the official welcome drinks and dinner.
Day 2 we hit the mountain.
Commencing with a breakfast at Cascades we then head out for first tracks and enjoy some well earned time on the mountain.
At 2pm we have the mid-mountain Kareela Hutte exclusively booked for an incredible on-mountain glorious lunch and drinks before skiing back into the village to continue the festivities.
A little time to relax, refresh & dress up for the evening before taking part in our single malt whisky tasting event which then continues into the Super Alpine 500 Feature Dinner. Featuring an unannounced special guest speaker, entertainment and awards for the event, the evening promises to wind late into fireside cheese and warming drinks.
Day three continues the on-mountain alpine sports with a cascades breakfast and back up the chairlifts.
We'll look to depart Thredbo around midday and have lunch at Wildbrumby Distillery for those interested in joining.
From there we make the trip back to Sydney reflecting on an incredible weekend.
